Kabupaten Ciamis – Sebuah kebakaran menghanguskan bangunan multifungsi di Jalan Ciptomangunkusumo, Pakuncen, Kelurahan Ciamis, Kabupaten Ciamis, Kamis (16/7/2026) siang. Peristiwa tersebut diduga dipicu api yang berasal dari kompor saat digunakan untuk memasak di dapur rumah milik Diah Sadiah (74).
Api pertama kali muncul dari area dapur di bagian belakang rumah sebelum dengan cepat membesar dan merambat ke bagian bangunan lainnya. Akibatnya, tiga bagian utama bangunan, yakni rumah tinggal, kantor J&T Express Cargo, dan studio foto, ludes terbakar.
Ani Radiany, staf Kelurahan Ciamis yang juga tetangga korban, mengatakan dugaan sementara kebakaran terjadi karena kompor yang diduga lupa dimatikan oleh pemilik rumah yang telah lanjut usia.
“Ibunya sudah lanjut usia, diduga lupa mematikan kompor sehingga api cepat membesar,” ujarnya.
Menurut Ani, anak korban yang berada di dalam rumah menjadi orang pertama yang mengetahui kebakaran. Saat melihat kobaran api membesar, ia segera mengevakuasi Diah Sadiah keluar rumah sehingga berhasil menyelamatkan diri.
Hingga berita ini ditulis, penyebab pasti kebakaran masih dalam penyelidikan pihak berwenang. Belum ada laporan mengenai korban jiwa, sementara besaran kerugian akibat kebakaran masih dalam proses pendataan.
