Jakarta – Kepemimpinan baru Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) langsung melakukan perombakan strategi Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) usai pergantian pucuk pimpinan menyusul kasus hukum yang menjerat pejabat sebelumnya.
Kepala BGN Nanik S. Deyang menegaskan pihaknya tidak lagi mengejar target kuantitas penerima manfaat hingga 82,9 juta orang pada 2026. Fokus utama kini dialihkan pada peningkatan kualitas layanan, pembenahan dapur yang sudah beroperasi, serta efisiensi anggaran.
Salah satu kebijakan yang langsung diterapkan adalah moratorium atau penghentian sementara pembangunan dapur MBG baru. BGN akan lebih dulu mengevaluasi lebih dari 27 ribu dapur yang telah beroperasi untuk memastikan standar kesehatan, keamanan pangan, dan kualitas pelayanan terpenuhi.
Selain itu, BGN mengalihkan prioritas program ke wilayah tertinggal, terdepan, dan terluar (3T), serta memperkuat intervensi gizi bagi ibu hamil, ibu menyusui, dan balita yang dinilai menjadi kelompok paling strategis dalam pencegahan stunting.
BGN juga membuka peluang evaluasi penerima manfaat di sekolah-sekolah kategori mampu agar anggaran dapat difokuskan kepada kelompok masyarakat yang lebih membutuhkan dan daerah yang selama ini belum terjangkau program MBG.
